We are seeking a Senior EC Payroll Solutions Architect to lead and deliver end-to-end SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll solutions for complex client environments. We are seeking a Senior EC Payroll Solutions Architect to lead and deliver end-to-end SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll solutions for complex client environments. This role is hands-on and ideal for a proven architect who enjoys configuration, problem-solving, and direct project delivery-not just advisory work. This is a key role within a fast-growing HR technology consultancy known for deep expertise, strong client relationships, and a collaborative, delivery-first culture.
What You’ll Do
- Lead EC Payroll architecture, design, and hands-on configuration
- Own end-to-end payroll implementations, enhancements, and migrations
- Partner closely with clients to gather requirements and translate them into scalable solutions
- Configure and support:
- Payroll schemas, rules, and calculations
- Time management and integration points
- Benefits, tax, and compliance requirements
- Design and support integrations between:
- Employee Central
- EC Payroll
- Third-party systems (benefits, time, finance, tax vendors, etc.)
- Troubleshoot complex payroll issues and provide expert-level guidance
- Support testing cycles (unit, integration, UAT) and post-go-live stabilization
- Collaborate with project managers, functional leads, and technical teams
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients while remaining deeply involved in delivery
- 7+ years of SAP HCM / SuccessFactors experience
- Strong, hands-on experience with EC Payroll (this is not a high-level advisory role)
- Proven experience:
- Configuring payroll schemas and rules
- Leading payroll implementations or major enhancements
- Working directly with clients in a consulting environment
- Deep understanding of:
- U.S. payroll requirements and compliance
- EC Payroll architecture and data flow
- Experience integrating EC Payroll with third-party systems
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of delivery
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Travel: Ability to travel to client sites and HQ as needed.
