We are seeking a Financial Portfolio Management Lead to serve as the primary financial partner for a Technology organization. This role will lead financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, investment management, and reporting while partnering closely with technical and executive stakeholders.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a Financial Portfolio Management Lead to serve as the primary financial partner for a Technology organization. This role will lead financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, investment management, and reporting while partnering closely with technical and executive stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead CapEx, OpEx, and technology financial planning and forecasting.
- Manage annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and five-year investment plans.
- Provide financial guidance and recommendations to technology leadership.
- Monitor budgets and financial performance, including variance analysis, risks, and opportunities.
- Support demand planning and evaluate funding, resource, and investment impacts.
- Manage CWIP (Construction Work in Progress) balances and project capitalization.
- Coordinate asset placement into service and asset retirement activities.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, capitalization rules, financial controls, and SOX requirements.
- Develop financial dashboards, reports, and executive-level presentations.
- Translate complex financial information into clear business insights.
- Lead and coordinate Financial Services Analysts supporting the organization.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, accounting, or financial analysis.
- Proven experience managing departmental budgets and forecasts.
- Strong hands-on experience with CapEx and OpEx financial management.
- Experience with annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Experience preparing financial reports, dashboards, and management presentations.
- Ability to identify and communicate financial risks, opportunities, and recommendations.
- Experience partnering with Technology/IT teams and business leadership on financial planning and investment decisions.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, capitalization policies, and SOX requirements.
- Experience communicating complex financial information to executives, technical teams, and business stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, presentation, and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CWIP, capitalization, depreciation, and asset management.
- Experience supporting Technology projects and investment planning.
- Experience with demand planning and multi-year financial planning.
- Experience creating financial dashboards and executive presentations.
- Experience with ERP, portfolio management, or financial reporting platforms.
- CPA, CMA, PMP, or similar professional certification.
