IT Support Specialist
5 days onsite in Downtown Dallas JOB DESCRIPTION
Hardware Support Specialist

Our IT Support Specialist primary functions are to work FreshService tickets as they come in, create the Active Directory accounts, and configure hardware for new hires and support our audio\video solutions. We are looking for people that enjoy helping others and take pride in their work.

 

Primary Job Responsibilities
  • Perform configuration of end-user PC desktop hardware.
  • Provide support and resolution of various computer hardware and software issues.
  • Resolve end-user computer related issues via telephone, email, in person, or remotely.
  • Must be able to diagnose and resolve moderately complex IT system hardware, software, network and user issues.
  • Ability to setup laptops, phones, and printers.
  • On occasion, contribute on projects such as software implementation and training.
  • As needed, instruct end users in the appropriate use of equipment and/or software.
  • Assist with technology planning and implementation of technology projects.
  • Create and update documentation for systems and processes.

Desired Skills
  • Candidate must be eager to learn and have excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills, exceptional initiative, and ability to work effectively in a professional atmosphere is required.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft products is required.
  • Microsoft Office365 and Active Directory Experience is preferred.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills is required.
  • Customer-centric attitude and willingness to resolve issues cradle-to-grave is required.
  • Experience with high-priority, VIP-heavy support environment; prioritization; patience is required.
  • Windows/MacOS/mobile printer support experience is
  • Conference room technology support – screen sharing, videoconferencing, telephony is preferred.
  • Local technology stock management– ensuring equipment is on hand, shipping nationally when required.
  • Have experience managing users in phone system: RingCentral, Talk Desk, Cisco is
  • Have experience in Microsoft Intune and Azure Autopilot is preferred.

Misc
  • There is a possibility that there will be a rare on-call rotation.
  • Onsite 5 days a week.
