Marketing Design Assistant
This role does NOT accept c2c candidates or candidates that need sponsorship now or in the future. Meaning no H1b/cpt/opt visas
MUST BE LOCAL
Location: Grapevine, TX-100% ONSITE and then after 90 days, can move to hybrid, 3 days onsite/2 days remote

The Marketing Department is a tight-knit roll up your sleeves and do-it-together team. We are open-minded problem-solvers looking for a high performing, consistent, predictable, and efficient person to join our team.
Looking for:
· Creative skills that help to develop a cohesive brand presence across all touch points
· While we value both, for this role, we favor productivity and “getting things done” over creative and unique artistic perfection
· Utilization of brand colors, fonts, photography, layouts, and other design elements
· Ability to evaluate design choices critically, and to communicate those choices clearly
· An eye for detail and the ability to produce organized production files
· Portfolio showing work you’re most proud of – showcasing your creative, design and software skills
Working on:
· Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities
· Participating in various creative projects by offering input and sharing ideas
· Working to version out existing artwork for special events and community collateral needs
· Ongoing digital kiosk support and community site plan versioning to provide real-time customer-facing updates
· Ongoing digital asset coordination of product photography used across our websites
· Creating DIY “how-to” guides for our wall trim treatments found in our model homes
· Ongoing help with community plat graphic flyers and internal asset needs
· Other mission critical team contributions as assigned, such as: suggestions for our next team lunch, ideas on naming a new neighborhood, or the prefect meme to bring a little unexpected joy at work
Candidate characteristics:
· The ideal candidate has no difficulty maintaining a positive attitude; has demonstrated aptitude for learning; and takes initiative.
· Team Player – Working alone to produce great work is okay but you recognize that being a part of a collaborative team brings another level of greatness, not to mention some much-needed industry insight and understanding to the “why” of what you’re designing
· Positive Attitude – Design is subject to constructive criticism, so having a naturally upbeat disposition and friendly personality helps to make the necessary rounds of edits more enjoyable
· Flexibility – You can multi-task and enjoy being in a role where every day is a little different from the last
· Passion and Drive – You’re curious and work hard but have fun doing it because you’re doing what you love
· Accountability – You understand that deadlines are important and doing work you can be proud of within that timeframe is key
· Loyalty – You desire to be a part of something long-term and hope to grow within the position
Software you know:
· Canva and Adobe Creative Suite applications, specifically Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat.
· Microsoft Office Suite applications, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint
