We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join our expanding team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining network infrastructure, ensuring the smooth and secure operation of the company’s systems. You will collaborate with various teams to design, install, and configure network solutions, while also implementing security measures and optimizing performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and wireless devices
- Install and configure network systems and equipment
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure uptime
- Implement and manage security protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, and NAC
- Work with IT teams to establish network policies and documentation
- Conduct regular network assessments and perform capacity planning
- Provide technical support for network-related issues
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a Network Engineer or similar role
- Strong hands-on experience with Fortinet products (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, etc.)
- Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing, VLANs, VPNs, DNS, DHCP)
- Familiarity with network security protocols (IPSec, SSL/TLS VPN, 802.1X)
- Experience with firewall configuration, access control lists (ACLs), and high availability setups
- Proficient in network monitoring and troubleshooting tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
- Fortinet certification (NSE 5) preferred
- Prior experience in a remote position is highly valued
