Operations Analysis Software Engineer
Company’s Innovation team is seeking an Engineer to create and maintain simulation and analysis methods for high-fidelity, multi-asset, multi-team conflict modeling for current and future air vehicles, and the threat environment in which they perform.
This is a technical, individual-contributor position requiring consistent cross-functional collaboration as well as US DOD customer interface. The candidate should possess strong analytics and programming skills, including combat modeling, stochastic simulation, multivariate sensitivity analysis, and collaborative software development. The candidate will apply these skills to evaluate conceptual products and novel concepts of operation.
Individual passion for conflict scenario simulation, evaluation, interpretation, and visualization, as well as aircraft design, tool interface optimization, and new solution development are essential aspects of this position. The candidate is expected to drive the advancement of enterprise knowledge and capability in operations analysis.

Position Responsibilities
- Support design trade studies to optimize operations of the system of systems surrounding current and future aircraft operations
- Interpret trends and communicate insights from operations simulation data to inform new product development
- Coordinate data management and resource requirements with IT
- Explain analytics results to internal and external leadership through concise visualization
Position Requirements
- Must have5+ years AFSIM programming development and analysis
- Eligible for Secret security clearance
- Component-based-architecture in C++
- Simulation protocols (e.g., DIS, HLA)
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
- Must have experience in Python code development and analytics tools
- Experience in other ops analysis software, e.g. Command: Professional, Ansys STK, MACE
- Data analytics packages for MS PowerBI, Python, or R libraries
- Exposure to real-world flight operations
- Understanding of rotorcraft construction, subsystems, capabilities, and support operations
Participation in applicable industry organizations
