Headquartered in Fort Worth, TX, we are seeking an experienced PLM Software Architect to join the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) team supporting our aircraft design and manufacturing processes.

In this strategic role, you will act as the hands-on lead technical authority on the Dassault 3DX PLM project and own responsibility for planning all activities leading to the development of the overall solution architecture.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Define end to end technical solutions that adhere to enterprise architecture strategies, current state environment, and constraints. Analyze the viability of the solution to meet program timeline, budget, and quality
  • Assess and analyze business strategy, business requirements, current state environment, and technology choices to evaluate solution alternatives that meet business needs
  • Lead application design implementation and integration development
  • Install, configure, and deploy 3DX in a LINUX on-prem environment
  • Work across multiple functional teams (data and analytics, security, infrastructure, development, etc.) to ensure that all aspects of the application architecture are captured, defined, and communicated
  • Create and own development standards for application implementation
  • Effectively communicate with team members, stakeholders, and business users using a variety of techniques and collaboration from initiation to closure
  • Drive strategies for migration and management of legacy systems and data
  • Facilitate small to large group meetings for reviewing technical architecture, decision making, and problem solving
  • Support talent development strategy by providing mentorship to team members

Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical and/or Manufacturing Engineering, Computer Science, or Technology

Position Requirements:
  • At least 8 years of overall work experience in Information Technology
  • At least 5 years of experience in PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) in a manufacturing environment
  • At least 2 years implementing Dassault 3DX Solutions with some experience implementing version 2020x and beyond
  • Strong understanding of Dassault brands, specifically ENOVIA and DELMIA
  • Technical expert in software development and DevSecOps
  • Strong Java background
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with server infrastructure and databases
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex issues to multi-level audiences throughout the company
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to direct others promoting accountability, collaboration, effective communication, and strategic thinking
