About the Role:
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Logistics & Procurement Specialist to support project and operational activities by ensuring the safe, timely, and efficient movement of materials and equipment. This role is critical in coordinating shipments, managing documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project timelines and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate transportation of materials, equipment, and project components
- Issue release-to-ship documentation and confirm supplier readiness
- Communicate shipping instructions to suppliers and carriers
- Track shipments, resolve delays, and provide status updates
- Manage logistics documentation (drawings, inspection reports, etc.)
- Support material staging, readiness, and site coordination
- Maintain accurate shipment records and delivery confirmations
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain
- Understanding of freight scheduling and trucking operations
- Strong Excel skills and experience with tracking systems (TMS)
- Excellent communication, organization, and follow-up skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in energy, pipeline, or industrial project environments
- Familiarity with Aconex or Oracle systems
- Knowledge of DOT/HAZMAT regulations
- Exposure to QA/QC or inspection workflows
