- 5+ years of progressive experience in infrastructure engineering, systems engineering and enterprise IT operations
- Need more of a broad infrastructure engineer with Azure as their strongest area, rather than someone who is primarily an Azure migration or cloud-only specialist
- The best fit is a T-shaped infrastructure engineer, someone with deep Azure experience as the vertical skillset, but who is also actively hands-on across other infrastructure areas.
- Specifically, I’m looking for someone who has current operational experience with Windows and Linux administration, infrastructure troubleshooting, DNS/TCP/IP/VPN fundamentals, identity/Entra ID, monitoring, automation, and production support.
- The ideal candidate has likely worked in a smaller or mid-sized company where the infrastructure team was lean and engineers were expected to work across multiple domains. I’d prefer candidates from environments under roughly 5,000 employees (even under 1,000), especially if they supported a multi-site or global footprint. The global aspect is a plus, but the broader operational ownership is most important.

- Needs to be strong with Active Directory, Microsoft, Azure
- Someone needs to be able to at least talk Network and Linux

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and support enterprise infrastructure across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Execute production changes and maintain operational health of infrastructure platforms.
- Troubleshoot complex issues across systems, networking, identity, and endpoint technologies.
- Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and service restoration efforts.
- Support Windows, Linux, Azure, identity services, networking, and endpoint management platforms.
- Maintain and troubleshoot DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPN, TLS/SSL, SSO, and SAML technologies.
- Manage Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, and endpoint lifecycle processes.
- Contribute to infrastructure automation and Infrastructure-as-Code initiatives.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, standards, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, application, and business teams to support enterprise initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of infrastructure engineering, systems engineering, or enterprise IT operations experience.
- 100% remote, but MUST LIVE in FL, MI, MT, NJ, NY, NC, PA, TX, UT or VA
- Strong experience with Azure IaaS, PaaS, Entra ID, Intune, Windows Server, and Linux.
- Solid understanding of DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, routing, VPNs, TLS/SSL, and SSO/SAML.
- Experience supporting cloud infrastructure and executing production changes.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work across multiple infrastructure disciplines.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Bachelor's degree required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, and Python.
- Knowledge of OCI and hybrid cloud architectures.
- Experience with enterprise networking technologies and identity platforms.
- Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring and observability tools.
- Experience supporting global enterprise environments.
- Master's degree preferred.
