System Engineer- Kepware
- Contract to Hire

Aerospace Manufacturing company is seeking a Systems Engineer to assist with implementation and support of new State of the Art Technology within their manufacturing shop floor environment.
Job Description
Key responsibilities include implementing and supporting machine connections and data exchange within an Enterprise Application environment. Key effort will be placed on enabling a One-Stop Shop through the creative use of enterprise and operational data with the end goal to guide users’ focus on improvement opportunities enabling Operational Excellence. The primary role of this position is to migrate factory floor machines to the new segregated (OT) network.
Job Duties
· Perform tasks required to migrate machines from existing network to new segregated shop floor (OT) network
o Pre-migration tasks
§ Identify network port and new OT network VLAN
§ Obtain new OT network IP address
§ Investigate existing protocols/ports used by machine
§ Create/submit firewall service request (FSR) for OT network connectivity
o Migration tasks
§ Verify existing machine connectivity
§ Reconfigure machine IP address
§ Test machine connectivity
§ Reconfigure machines in existing applications (e.g., DNC)
§ Test application connectivity
o Post-migration tasks
§ Move machine to new Kepware OT server
§ Establish machine in new Kepware DMZ server
§ Reconfigure machine in Apriso DMZ server
§ Validate Apriso connectivity
Requirements
· Experience in a Manufacturing environment is required.
· Firewall experience is required.
· Network experience is required.
· Experience working with OPC technology and tag data
· Must work on-site – positions are in East Hartford, CT and Columbus, GA.
· Must hold US Citizenship and be able to pass a background check
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and presentation). Able to work in a Team Environment.
· Results driven and self-motivated.
