Key Responsibilities:

Data Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives.

Azure Data Services: Manage and optimize Azure-based data services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Azure Synapse Analytics.

Databricks Expertise: Utilize Databricks for data processing, data engineering, and advanced analytics. Design and implement data transformations, machine learning workflows, and data pipelines.

Data Integration: Oversee data integration efforts, ensuring seamless data flow between various systems and platforms.

Data Governance: Establish and enforce data governance policies and standards to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.

Team Leadership: Lead a team of data engineers and analysts, providing mentorship, guidance, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize data pipelines, queries, and storage to improve data processing efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Data Security: Implement robust security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.

Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data processes, configurations, and best practices.

Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders, to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.

Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage third-party data-related vendors and services.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in data management, with a focus on Azure Data Services and Databricks.
- PowerBI Experience

Proficiency in Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Azure Synapse Analytics.

Strong expertise in Databricks for data engineering, data processing, and analytics.

Solid understanding of data governance, data security, and data compliance.

Experience with programming languages such as Python, Scala, or SQL.

Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Relevant certifications in Azure and Databricks are a plus.
