Job Description
Job Title: Data Validation Specialist (SCADA Migration)
Location: Tulsa, OK (Onsite)
Employment Type: 18-Month Contract (Potential for Conversion)
Overview
Join a high-impact initiative supporting a large-scale SCADA system upgrade. In this role, you will validate and ensure the accurate transfer of thousands of control system data points into a new platform. You’ll collaborate with operations, controls, and field teams to support a critical, long-term modernization effort.
What You’ll Do
- Validate and verify data and setpoint transfers during system migration
- Identify, investigate, and document discrepancies or failed data points
- Partner with field teams and control system stakeholders to resolve issues
- Maintain precise, audit-ready documentation
- Support system testing to ensure performance and accuracy post-migration
Work Breakdown
- 75% Data validation and system verification
- 25% Cross-team coordination and issue resolution
Minimum Qualifications (Requirements)
- Proven experience in data validation or quality assurance
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Ability to work with large datasets with high accuracy
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in oil & gas or midstream environments
- Exposure to SCADA systems, controls, or industrial automation
- Experience with system migrations or large-scale data projects
