Job Description
Test Engineer IV
Responsibilities:
• Function as an Automation architect/Subject Matter Expert as part of development team for Carrier class Telecom products
• Support functional test, System test and test set automation script development using company approved frameworks
• Participate in design reviews and automation assessment for the test scripts
• Have keen eye to improve productivity by using CI/CD pipelines
• Participate in tools evaluation and selection
• Provide technical leadership as needed to architect, design and develop
• Mentor engineers as needed
Skills & Knowledge:
• Experienced in full life cycle of modern Automation in Telecom or Datacomm
• Expert level in Python, Selenium, Expect and other automation tools (Must Have)
• Experience designing and developing test-libraries which are shared across products (Must Have)
• Direct experience working in automation for embedded products, simulated images using Qemu, Containers etc. (Preferred)
• Desirable to have experience deploying and automating Docker Containers on bare metal hardware (required), cloud (preferred)
Must have the following experience:
• Experience working with open source Automation tools
• CI/CD tools: GIT/bitbucket/SONAR/JIRA/Confluence
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to work in a team environment, collaborate on test automation and share innovative approaches or ideas with team members

• Motivated, goal oriented, strong work ethic
• Flexible, adaptable and open to change
• Technical, analytical skills
Experience & Education:
• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• Minimum of 8+ years of work experience as a Test Automation Engineer
• Strong experience with Automation tools, Git, Gerrit, JIRA, Familiar with Agile/Scrum development methodologies. (Must Have)
• Experience in Linux or any equivalent UNIX flavors (Must Have)
