Windows Imaging Technician

This role will require to work onsite 5 days per week. You will work in the Dallas Office and commute to Ft. Worth office as needed along with travel to each of the other offices for the upgrades.

Travel is up to 50%.

This role will require traveling to Houston, Austin, San Antonio, Plano, and New Mexico offices for completing the Windows 11 Upgrades. You will be able expense travel expenses.

Summary
The ideal candidate will have experience in creating, deploying, and managing Windows 11 images, with a strong focus on in-place imaging and migration from previous versions of Windows. The successful candidate will be an energetic initiative-taker that values integrity, reliability and has a passion for excellence.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Image Creation and Deployment: Develop and maintain Windows 11 images using tools such as Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT), System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), InTune and Windows Imaging and Configuration Designer (ICD).
  • In-Place Imaging: Perform in-place upgrades and migrations from Windows 10 to Windows 11, ensuring minimal disruption to end-users.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to image deployment and in-place upgrades.
  • Automation: Automate imaging processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of imaging processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of Windows 11 images into the existing infrastructure.
  • User Support: Provide support to end-users during and after the imaging process, addressing any issues that arise.
Required Experience:
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in Windows imaging and deployment, with specific experience in Windows 11 is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with MDT, SCCM, ICD, InTune and other imaging tools. Strong understanding of Windows 11 architecture and features is a plus.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve complex imaging issues.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear and concise documentation.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Windows Client or similar are a plus.
 Education:
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in information technology or related technical area preferred but not required.
Required Licenses, Certificates or Knowledge
  • A current and valid driver license.
